Preparations of Commonwealth Games are presented by Media in front of peoples and then all common men comes to know the real picture. Prime Minister Mr Manmohan Singh and Congress Chief Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, said that the action will be taken against all who are responsible to make fraud in the event. They have clearly asked Mr.Suresh Kalmadi to complete all works on time and make the event happen.
while addressing the meeting of Congress Committee she said "I trust that as soon as the Games are over the government will look into the allegations of malpractice and spare no one found to be involved in them".Sonia said that the "success of the Games is that of our country — not of any party or of any individual."
Sonia put a big accent on 'accountability' of the organisers and promised a thorough post-mortem once the event was over. Congress president's strong words came after her intervention at the meeting of the Congress Core Group on Friday led Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to make a belated effort to rescue the Games from the risk of a failure. In a statement he issued on Saturday, Singh also laid stress on corruption and government's resolve to punish it.
