In The first match of IPL-3 , on friday, kolkata night riders beat Deccan Chargers by 11 runs. Kolkata Night Ridres bat first and score 161 runs in 20 overs. Starts for Kolkata was not good and they loss 2 wickets at score=0. Gaunguly the captain did not score any run and he caught in Slip for duck. but Oias Shah and Srilankan player Anjela mathews scores fifty and kolkata team manage to make 161 runs.
In reply Deccan starts very well and captain Gilly scores 50. At one stage Deccan were in a strong position to win the match but due to good captaincy of Ganguly they loss wickets at regular intervals and at the end they loss by 11 runs.
